According to the Minister, there are upcoming changes in the structure of internal assessment, giving priority to practical tasks and demonstrating skills. The drive contains a change in the forms of assessment, namely: the replacement of dictation with text editing, and the inclusion of practical tasks from the field of financial literacy. The ministry's experts have found a low level of preparation in this area among students of the 10th grade of secondary schools. The Ministry of Education and Science has decided to finance the introduction of innovative academic disciplines, and for this purpose, grant funding of BGN 18,000 (Euro 9203) has been provided. The Ministry has understood that the teachers who will work in this field must also be prepared for this change.

In our opinion, the introduction of the "Financial Literacy" curriculum is one of the possible solutions for Bulgarian schools to innovate the educational process with an emphasis on solving real, practical tasks.
